Barcelona’s towering Sagrada Familia basilica reached its most top on Friday, although the magnum opus of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí stays years away from completion. A crane positioned the higher arm of a cross atop the Tower of Jesus Christ, the church’s hovering central piece, which now stands 172.5 meters (566 ft) above town.
