Golden Corral diner suffers ‘irreversible injuries’ after being attacked by workers who wrongly accused him of making an attempt to dine and sprint, lawsuit says | EUROtoday
A diner was allegedly stabbed with a fork and left with “irreversible injuries” throughout an assault by staff at restaurant close to Las Vegas, in accordance with a lawsuit.
Gary Sellinger, 59, was eating with mates at a Golden Corral restaurant in Henderson, Nevada on February 2, 2025, the court docket submitting states.
The grievance, filed final Thursday and seen by the Las Vegas Review-Journalstates that Sellinger arrived on the restaurant with a buddy at round 5 p.m. Once there, they had been joined by a second buddy.
However, throughout their meal, a supervisor approached their desk and allegedly accused the group of diners of not paying for his or her meals.
The lawsuit states that Sellinger tried to inform the supervisor that he had a receipt proving that he had truly paid for the meals, however was requested to go away the buffet-style restaurant.

In his lawsuit, Sellinger alleges that he was “pummelled, hit, kicked” and even stabbed with a fork by the restaurant staff, leaving him with “irreversible injuries.”
Keith Galliher, Sellinger’s lawyer, instructed the Review-Journal that his shopper suffered a head harm through the incident.
“I’ve had him evaluated and he has a traumatic brain injury because he struck his head on the chair when he was tackled and fell to the floor,” Galliher mentioned.
“I’ve got the photos from the hospital, I’ve got the witnesses and they confirmed, the photos confirm he was stabbed multiple times with a fork in the back,” the lawyer added.
Now, Sellinger is looking for damages in extra of $15,000 along with lawyer prices and different authorized charges, in accordance with the grievance.
Galliher instructed the Review-Journal that the case was reported to the Henderson Police Department.
A police spokesperson later confirmed to the newspaper that officers had been known as to the restaurant at round 6.08 p.m., with the incident being documented as a name for service. No report was filed, the spokesperson added.
