A complete of twenty-two NCP automobile parks will shut inside days after the corporate plunged into administration. The automobile park operator stated the websites are “no longer commercially viable to operate” and can shut for good on Friday (March 27).

NCP collapsed into administration earlier this month after years of monetary struggles. The agency, which manages 340 automobile parks throughout the UK and employs 682 folks, had money owed £305million better than the worth of its property final September. It has struggled because the Covid-19 pandemic as a result of enhance of house working and rise of on-line procuring. An absence of excessive avenue footfall has hit NCP arduous, with bosses confirming it had “insufficient cash available to meet its financial obligations and the directors have therefore taken the decision to appoint administrators”.

It has now been confirmed that 22 automobile parks will shut from 11.59pm on Friday. Meanwhile, the remaining 318 will stay open with no additional closures recognized.

An NCP spokesperson stated: “National Car Parks Limited (NCP) – in administration – 22 sites to close on 27 March, while all other sites remain open. On Monday March 16, 2026, Zelf Hussain, Rachael Wilkinson and Toby Banfield of PwC were appointed as Joint Administrators of National Car Parks Limited.

“Following an preliminary evaluation of operations, the joint directors have recognized 22 websites which can be commercially unviable and can due to this fact be closed to clients from 11:59pm on 27 March.

“Regrettably, due to the closure of these sites, 33 employees will be made redundant on 31 March. They will be supported through the statutory redundancy payments process. The other 318 car parks remain open and there are no further sites identified for closure at this time.”

NCP has confirmed that these 22 automobile parks will shut on Friday, March 27.
