President Donald Trump lashed out at Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) as he demanded the legislator apologize for saying “nobody respects” Border Patrol or Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Wow! Cryin’ Chuck Schumer just said, for the whole World to hear, that ‘NOBODY RESPECTS BORDER PATROL OR ICE,’” the president posted on Truth Social.

“That is one of the most egregious, incorrect, unpatriotic, and dangerous statements I have EVER heard from a ‘professional’ politician,” he went on. “HE MUST IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZE TO THESE GREAT PATRIOTS, AND I MEAN NOW!”

Schumer made the disparaging feedback about immigration authorities Wednesday whereas opposing Senate Republicans’ push to fund the Department of Homeland Security after a monthslong shutdown.
