There are stays of a set sunken within the mud, between items of wooden and plastic sheets. A leg beneath a restaurant desk, on which a discreet and disturbing bruise may be seen. A dump of deserted washing machines in an arid lot and a classical bust enlarged on a billboard, in the course of a rural panorama with out epic. These are a few of the vignettes gathered within the first main exhibition devoted to the pictures of Yorgos Lanthimos (Athens, 52 years outdated), which may be seen at Onassis Stegi, the cultural middle of the Onassis Foundation in Athens, till the tip of May.
