Ukraine: Government has distributed €340 million allocated under “Program for the reconstruction of Ukraine” to all regions of the country – Minister Chernyshov
The government has changed the conditions of granting subventions from the state budget, distributing the “Program for the reconstruction of Ukraine” (for €340 million) to all regions of the country. This was announced by the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the procedure and conditions for granting subventions from the state budget to local budgets to implement projects of the “Program for the reconstruction of Ukraine” worth 340 million euro. It is about supporting projects aimed at restoring the destroyed and damaged infrastructure. First of all, the project will affect those regions that directly suffered from Russia’s armed aggression or received the largest number of internally displaced persons.
“The government’s decision will make it possible to direct a subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of projects to rebuild health care, education, security centers, and administrative service centers. And also for the restoration and modernization of buildings for housing for persons who lost it as a result of the military aggression of Russia”, – said the Minister.
The draft decree extends the implementation of projects to all regions of Ukraine. After all, due to the full-scale invasion of Russia after February 24, the whole territory of Ukraine falls under the provision of the Financial Agreement “Programme for the reconstruction of Ukraine” between the European Investment Bank and Ukraine. In addition, the changes assume the possibility of development of project documentation at the expense of this Program.
