Eurostat revises its estimate of inflation within the Eurozone in September to 1.7%, decreasing the “flash” estimate to 1.8% at first of the month (inflation was 2.2% in August). Inflation within the EU was 2.1% in September (from 2.4% in August). Lowest charges recorded in Ireland (0.0%), Lithuania (0.4%), Slovenia and Italy (each 0.7%).
