The heating season in Ukraine will be without an increase in tariffs for heat and hot water. This was stated by Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
According to him, today the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a whole the bills #7427 and #7429, which create conditions for the financial solvency of heating companies.
“The heating season will be without an increase in tariffs for heat and hot water. Today people’s deputies have voted super important bills that will protect consumers and businesses from price fluctuations in the gas market and ensure financial solvency in the heating sector”, – stressed the Minister.
At the same time, guarantees for economic entities in the field of heat supply are defined.
It also provides for a deferral of debt repayment under debt restructuring agreements to heating and utility companies whose production facilities are located in the temporarily occupied territory, or whose production facilities were destroyed or damaged as a result of shelling or are located in the combat zone.
In particular, during martial law and six months after its end, Ukraine imposes a moratorium on raising tariffs for heat energy (its production, transportation and supply), heat energy supply and hot water supply services for all categories of consumers.
