A teenage boy has been arrested after a girl was stabbed to demise at a London house on Christmas Eve. Officers have been referred to as to reviews of a 22-year-old lady with a stab harm at a property in Bermondsey at about 10pm final night time.
Police attended together with paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Despite their greatest efforts, the lady died on the scene. Her household has been knowledgeable
A 16-year-old boy identified to the lady was arrested a short while in a while suspicion of homicide. He is in custody at a close-by police station.
Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh, native policing commander for Southwark, mentioned: “This is a tragic incident and my thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“We recognise this can even have an effect on the broader group and we could have extra patrols within the space over the approaching days to offer reassurance.”
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie added: “Our investigation continues and a workforce of detectives are working at tempo to ascertain what occurred that resulted in a younger lady shedding her life. My ideas, and people of my workforce, are along with her household and buddies at this terrible time.
“One person has been arrested, but we still need to hear from anyone who was in the Spenlow House area between 7pm and 11pm on Christmas Eve and may have seen or heard anything suspicious.
“I might urge anybody with any data which may be related to our investigation, irrespective of how insignificant it could have appeared on the time, to return ahead instantly.”
A autopsy examination will happen on Tuesday, 26 December.
