Already prosecuted for sexual violence, former Secretary of State Jean-Vincent Placé was indicted on Friday, September 6, for sexual assault on a second lady within the judicial investigation concentrating on him in Paris since March 2022, Agence France-Presse (AFP) realized from a supply near the case.
The 56-year-old is suspected of sexually assaulting a lady within the first quarter of 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. The lawyer for the second plaintiff, Me Tewfik Bouzenoune, declined to remark. Mr. Placé's lawyer, Me Jade Dousselin couldn’t be reached instantly.
This indictment comes along with an preliminary indictment of Mr. Placé, already prosecuted for sexual assault and sexual harassment by an individual abusing the authority conferred by his place, in opposition to a former colleague.
