A child has died within the Channel after a ship carrying migrants bumped into difficulties, French authorities have mentioned.
A complete of 65 individuals have been rescued after the boat, which was headed in direction of the UK, capsized within the water. French search and rescue groups deployed 4 ships and a helicopter to assist the operation.
An investigation has been opened.
