A pregnant lady and her unborn child have died following a collision with a police automotive, the Metropolitan Police stated.
The pressure stated an unmarked car collided with a automotive on the A20 in Eltham, south-east London, at round 6.15pm on Thursday close to the junction with Kidbrooke Park Road.
The lady, 38, who was within the different automotive, and her unborn little one died of their accidents.
Two officers within the unmarked automotive have been taken to hospital however have since been discharged.
Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry, answerable for policing in Greenwich, stated: “My heart goes out to the woman’s family and friends who have lost their loved ones in these tragic circumstances.
“An investigation into the circumstances of this collision is under way by the Independent Office for Police Conduct and we will assist with their enquiries in any way we can.”
