Hungarian Prime Minister Orban maintains good relations along with his Israeli counterpart Netanyahu. He doesn’t wish to execute the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant in opposition to Netanyahu.

Hungary’s right-wing populist Prime Minister Viktor Orban has strongly condemned the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court in opposition to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demonstratively invited his colleague to go to Hungary. The ICC’s resolution was “cynical” and represented “interference in an ongoing conflict for political purposes,” Orban mentioned on Hungarian state radio.

In addition, this resolution overrides worldwide regulation and “adds fuel to the fire,” Orban continued. “That’s why I will invite Benjamin Netanyahu today, which will have no consequences for him. We will reject the arrest warrant if he accepts the invitation.” Orban has had superb relations with Netanyahu for a very long time.
