A brewing big has been warned it’s threatening jobs and lowering drinkers’ decisions by axing almost a dozen beers from pubs.
Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is dropping 11 in style varieties, blaming a drop in demand.

The delisted beers are: Banks’s Mild, Banks’s Sunbeam, Bombardier, Eagle IPA, Jennings Cumberland Ale, Mansfield Dark Smooth, Mansfield Original Bitter, Marston’s Old Empire, Marston’s 61 Deep, Ringwood Boondoggle and Ringwood Old Thumper.
But Jennings Cumberland, Marston’s Old Empire, Ringwood Boondoggle and Bombardier Amber Beer will nonetheless be out there in bottles.

Carlsberg paid £206m in July to take full management of the brewing three way partnership it had with pub operator Marston’s.
