This science fiction romantic drama is about in a close to future the place synthetic intelligence dominates and human feelings are seen as threats. Gabrielle, performed by Léa Seydoux, undergoes a course of to purify her DNA by revisiting her previous lives to eradicate any leftover sturdy feelings. During this joumey, she reconnects with Louis (performed by George Mackay), her nice love from these earlier lives.

The movie explores themes of affection, identification, and the affect of expertise on human feelings. Bonello’s visionary route and Seydoux’s charming portrayal make for a compelling and thought-provoking film which treads a high-quality line between sci-fi and romantic drama
