Various retailers and buildings in Regent Street, in central London, have been evacuated on Wednesday, January 8, in gentle of an alleged bomb risk.

A bit of the busy space was cordoned off by officers after police rushed to the highway. The cordon was in place between Conduit Street and Vigo Street, MyLondon reviews.

A video shared on the social media platform X exhibits dozens of individuals on the street close to the police cordon, with a police automobile parked simply exterior the realm and officers in attendance.

An workplace employee claimed to MyLondon that he had been knowledgeable in regards to the alleged risk at about 1.10pm on Wednesday, and was informed to evacuate the constructing some eight minutes later.
