Emergency companies have been deployed to Brunswick, a village close to Newcastle, after stories of a fireplace.
Police, fireplace service, and ambulances are all current on the scene on close to to Dene Avenue and Drysdale Crescent.
The motive for the most important response has not been confirmed.
