And now the Mouse House’s December blockbuster Mufasa: The Lion King is heading to Disney Plus this Wednesday.
The musical prequel to 2019’s The Lion King follows the youth of Simba’s father lengthy earlier than his homicide by his evil brother Scar.
Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and John Kani all reprise their roles from the unique live-action remake.
Meanwhile, the voice solid is now joined by Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr, Tiffany Boone, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Anika Noni Rose and Blue Ivy Carter.
The blockbuster, directed by Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins, is devoted to the late James Earl Jones, who voiced Mufasa within the 1994 animation and the 2019 remake.
