Marks & Spencer (M&S) says it has stopped taking on-line orders as the corporate struggles to get well from a cyber assault.
Customers started reporting issues final weekend, and on Tuesday the retailer confirmed it was dealing with a “cyber incident”.
It informed the BBC on Wednesday customer-facing programs had been again to regular, however some programs remained offline.
Now the agency has fully paused orders on its web site and apps.
“We are truly sorry for this inconvenience,” it wrote in a put up on X.
“Our experienced team – supported by leading cyber experts – is working extremely hard to restart online and app shopping.
“We are extremely grateful to our prospects, colleagues and companions for his or her understanding and assist.”
It said its stores remain open despite the issues affecting online ordering.
M&S said on Tuesday it had reported the incident to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
The National Crime Agency beforehand informed the BBC its officers are working with the NCSC to assist the agency.
