The M1 is at present closed in Bedfordshire on account of an incident. Bedfordshire Police are on the scene, whereas National Highways Traffic Officers are helping with visitors administration.
The busy motorway has been closed in each instructions between junction 12 and junction 13 on account of what the National Highways is describing as a police led incident. Motorists are being instructed to count on delays and diversion routes have been printed.
