Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Luxembourg will also be the subject of the report.

Regarding the social situation, in a context of virtual economic stagnation, the European Commission published for the first time a recommendation all aimed at human capital in the European Union. In a 2024 survey, 77% of European companies highlighted skills shortages, particularly in more technical trades. By 2027 the European Union will need 6.2-7.0 million specialists in the field of artificial intelligence alone.

In this context, in its report the European Commission suggests lowering limitations to entry into technical professions; relaunch collaboration between universities and companies; make the educating occupation extra engaging; enhance educating in arithmetic and science, together with synthetic intelligence; optimize public spending on schooling; promote personal funding in office coaching.
