A person has been jailed after strangling his girlfriend till she handed out. Adam Marchant, 32, of West End, Whittlesey, close to Peterborough, put his accomplice by a “terrifying” scenario as he pulled the sufferer from the automotive, pinned her in opposition to one other automobile together with his fingers round her throat, and brought about her to cross out. At Cambridge Crown Court on Friday, 21 November, he was sentenced to 2 years and eight months in jail, handed a 10-year restraining order, and disqualified from driving for 2 years and 4 months.
