Police have arrested two extra individuals following an assault suspected to have been with pepper spray and a theft at Heathrow airport on Sunday.
On Monday afternoon, officers arrested a 24-year-old man in Lambeth, south London, on suspicion of theft and assault, and a 23-year-old lady on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft, in keeping with the Metropolitan Police.
Both suspects are in custody.
Meanwhile, police have revealed they’ve launched beneath investigation a 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft and assault.
A 3-year-old lady was amongst 21 individuals damage within the assault.
Armed police had been known as to Terminal 3 at 8.11am on Sunday after experiences that a number of individuals had been sprayed with the substance within the multi-storey automobile park.
Five had been taken to hospital and later allowed house.
Detectives say that earlier than the assault, two girls had been robbed of their suitcases after getting out of the automobile park raise.
“Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue,” the Met Police mentioned.
The assault brought about extreme journey disruption for passengers, and holidaymakers mentioned they had been stranded for hours at airport bus stops.
