Bondi seaside incident: Two arrested as public urged to keep away from space after reviews of gunshots | EUROtoday

Members of the general public have been urged to take shelter as police reply to reviews of a number of pictures fired at Australia’s iconic Bondi seaside.

People have reported listening to “up to 50” gunshots within the Campbell Parade space, in accordance with native reviews.

New South Wales Police power mentioned: “Police are responding to a developing incident at Bondi Beach and are urging the public to AVOID the area. Anyone at the scene should take shelter. Police are on scene and more information will be provided when it comes to hand.”

They later confirmed two individuals had been in custody, however mentioned the police operation continues to be ongoing.

The power added: “Two people are in police custody at Bondi Beach; however, the police operation is ongoing and we continue to urge people to avoid the area. Please obey ALL police directions. Do not cross police lines.”

Horrifying footage shared on social media seems to indicate two shooters firing from a bridge close to a carpark, whereas members of the general public will be heard screaming.
