Space journey: NASA loses contact with Mars probe | EUROtoday

The US area company NASA has misplaced contact with the Mars probe “Maven”. A Nasa spokeswoman instructed the German Press Agency that work is being achieved to revive this contact. No common information has been obtained for round two weeks. A “short fragment” reveals that the probe could have “rotated in an unexpected way”.

“Maven,” which was launched on the finish of 2013, has been orbiting Mars for round ten years and gives vital analysis information, particularly on the planet’s environment. NASA additionally has the Mars Odyssey and Mars Reconaissance Orbiter probes in use, in addition to the Curiosity and Perseverance rovers on the floor of our neighboring planet.
