Denmark stated Monday it should summon the US ambassador after US President Donald Trump introduced he had appointed a particular envoy to Greenland, the Danish autonomous territory he has threatened to annex. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen saidhe was “deeply angered” by the transfer and warned Washington to respect Denmark’s sovereignty.
