After the incident in central Giessen with 4 individuals injured, Hesse’s Interior Minister Roman Poseck (CDU) considers “a political or even terrorist motive” to be reasonably unlikely based mostly on the present info. “As things stand, it seems possible that an illness is the cause of the driver’s behavior,” defined Poseck late within the night.

“According to current information, the serious injury to the person particularly affected was not caused by a targeted collision, but rather by a collision with another vehicle,” the assertion continued. The state authorities expresses its condolences to all these injured and their households. “This incident is particularly affecting, especially just before Christmas,” Poseck continued. There is not any hazard to the inhabitants.
