A French businessman has proposed taking up the Orléans manufacturing unit of the Brandt family home equipment group, and retaining 150 jobs. In all, almost 350 jobs are threatened, whereas the group was positioned in liquidation on December 11. The takeover venture should nonetheless be validated by the Nanterre financial actions courtroom.
