Mayor of Tübingen about his former celebration: “I would come back to the Greens straight away,” says Palmer | EUROtoday

Tübingen’s mayor Boris Palmer has come to phrases with the separation from the Greens two years in the past, however hope for a return has not dried up.

In May 2023, he resigned from the Green Party after a scandal over the usage of the N-word, which many seen as racist. His membership had already been suspended due to different controversial statements. After a break, amongst different issues, he modified the principles for feedback on his Facebook profile. Comment columns have been restricted and, based on Palmer, provocative assaults are ignored.
