Back in 2016, Disney launched their anthropomorphic buddy cop comedy animation Zootopia (Zootropolis within the UK) and stormed the field workplace with over $1 billion.
Almost a decade on and the sequel lastly hit cinemas in November with glowing evaluations and field workplace glory.
Zootopia 2 (Zootropolis 2) has already remodeled $1.5 billion worldwide and broke the file for largest opening weekend for an animated movie ($560 million).
Incredibly widespread in China, the Disney film grew to become the primary Hollywood film to gross over $100 million in a single day on November 29.
And now it’s damaged one other file beforehand held by 2019’s Avengers Endgame.
Zootopia 2 has now surpassed the Marvel epic because the highest-grossing Hollywood movie of all time in China, with a complete of $608 million and counting.
As it stands, the brand new movie is the twelfth largest film worldwide and the 4th largest animated movement image of all time.
