A boy is in crucial situation at a hospital in New South Wales, Australia, after he was attacked by a shark at a seaside.

The assault occurred round 4.20 pm on Sunday within the waters close to Shark Beach at Nielsen Park in Vaucluse, a suburb in Sydney’s japanese area.

Emergency providers quickly arrived on the scene to reply to stories of a boy being bitten by a shark.

The boy suffered accidents to each legs and was transported to the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, NSW Ambulance Service mentioned.

The NSW police mentioned the “teenage boy is in a critical condition in hospital after being bitten by a shark”.

“The injuries are consistent with what is believed to have been a large shark,” it added.

The police added that the boy was rescued by the officers from Marine Area Command and Eastern Suburbs Police “within minutes of the call being made”.

The boy was instantly given first support on board the police vessel for critical leg accidents earlier than being transported to Rose Bay wharf, the place NSW Ambulance Paramedics continued first support.

The boy had been leaping off rocks and was swimming within the water, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Video from the scene confirmed the boy being handled by paramedics in a blue police rescue tent.

Police mentioned Shark Beach was closed and suggested swimmers to keep away from going into the water. It is believed that the boy was swimming outdoors the web enclosure of the seaside when he was attacked by the shark.
