EU leaders held a summit that was initially meant to debate using the bloc’s anticoercion instrument towards the United States. But because the summit was referred to as, US President Donald Trump backed down from his tariff threats and talks have began relating to Greenland. EU leaders ended up asking the European Parliament to ratify the EU-US commerce deal which had been suspended. FRANCE 24’s Dave Keating tells us extra from Brussels.
