House Dem Rips Trump Over Reaction To Alex Pretti Death: ‘What Is Wrong With That Man?’ | EUROtoday

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) had one query Tuesday for President Donald Trump, who has brazenly admitted to feeling “even worse” that Renee Good was killed by federal immigration brokers as a result of her dad and mom have been “big Trump fans.”

“What is wrong with that man?” Garcia requested throughout an look on MS NOW.

Garcia had joined “The Weeknight” to debate Trump’s fraught deployment of federal immigration brokers to Minnesota when the present performed a clip of Trump remarking on the deadly shootings of each Good and Alex Pretti this month.

“Bottom line, it was terrible,” the president stated Tuesday on Fox News of Pretti’s latest loss of life. “Both of them were terrible; the other was terrible, too. And I’m not sure about his parents, but I know her parents were big Trump fans. Makes me feel bad anyway, but I mean, I guess you could say ‘even worse.’”

Trump reiterated, “They were tremendous Trump people, Trump fans.”

Good’s automotive was partially blocking a Minneapolis highway earlier this month when an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, recognized as Jonathan Ross, fired a number of photographs into the automotive, killing her. Pretti was fatally shot Saturday whereas filming an altercation involving Border Patrol.

Initially, Trump falsely accused Good of operating Ross over in an try and justify her loss of life. He had a change of coronary heart final week after studying that her dad and mom have been Trump followers, nevertheless, and stated he hoped her father “still feels that way.”

Garcia had some selection phrases about Trump’s feedback.

“What is wrong with that man? I mean, seriously, making this about him, always saying, now, more and more bizarre things — this is not a well person who should be the president of the United States,” he stated. “And it is sick the way he reacts to tragedies, and he’s gotta be called out every single time.”

Garcia added, “I just cannot believe that this is the person running our country right now.”

Garcia ultimately turned his consideration to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who baselessly claimed after each shootings that Good and Pretti had been committing acts of “domestic terrorism” after they have been killed.

“One of three things is going to happen,” stated Garcia. “Kristi Noem is either, A, going to resign; two, she’s going to get fired by the president in some way because of the pressure; or three, we’re going to impeach her. And so she’s better off just resigning today because we are going to launch an impeachment inquiry.”

Garcia stated the House oversight committee, of which he’s a rating member, could have “a significant role” within the investigation — alongside the judiciary and homeland safety committees — and argued that many Republicans involved in regards to the midterms might be moved to cooperate.

“There are, as you know, Republicans that, their districts were won by Kamala Harris. They are in districts that are essentially Democrat or Democrat-leaning districts,” he stated.

“And certainly, in this election, they’re going to need independents and Democrats to try to scrape their way to reelection,” Garcia added. “So I think there is a real possibility that a united Democratic caucus around impeachment could work to pick up some Republican votes.”
