Police have been on the scene in three minutes and rapidly detained one of many males as he tried to flee on a moped. Another suspect threatened an officer with a hammer. They weren’t injured. Several suspects fled the scene on mopeds. They are believed to have stolen “high-value jewellery”. A 33-year-old who was arrested on the scene on suspicion of aggravated housebreaking stays in police custody.
