The sale of French navy provider LMB Aerospace to an American firm has ignited controversy in France and drawn criticism from throughout the political spectrum as the connection between the US and EU nationals continues to come back below elevated scrutiny. The minister of Economy Roland Lescure confirmed the federal government would take a controlling stake in LMB and that the sale won’t jeopardise French navy sovereignty.
