Hundreds of memorial bike rides have been planned and across the U.S. to honor Alex Pretti, who was a nurse and avid cyclist, according to The Minnesota Star Tribune.

Resident Chase Hardin called the memorial bike ride in Minneapolis “beautiful.”

“We probably have 1,000 people here to recognize a moment of solidarity,” he told the Star Tribune.

“I believe, perhaps if I hadn’t gone to that place, or I do not know, somewhat later or somewhat earlier, I imply, that by no means would have occurred,” he told CBS News.

“I do really feel responsible, I do really feel unhealthy. I noticed tales in regards to the man and I noticed an excellent particular person,” he added.

At Friday’s rallies, Muna, 20, a Somali-American scholar born and raised within the U.S. stated the administration was making an attempt to isolate and push out her neighborhood, who have been more and more scared.

Despite having authorized paperwork and even passports, manywere refusing to depart their properties in case they’re seized by immigration brokers, she added.

“We belong here too, as you can see the people of Minneapolis agree with me,” she stated as hundreds of individuals marched behind her.
