Less than a month after the US intervention in Venezuela and the seize of the president Nicolas Maduro The new chief diplomat of the USA has arrived in Caracas. The diplomat Laura Dogu was acquired on the airport within the Venezuelan capital by Foreign Minister Yván Gil.
“My team and I are ready to work,” Dogu wrote in Spanish on the web service X, together with images of her arrival on the airport. The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry mentioned the assembly between Dogu and Gil was a part of efforts to “establish a roadmap on issues of bilateral interest” and resolve current variations by diplomatic channels.

The U.S. authorities final week appointed Dogu, who beforehand served as U.S. ambassador to Honduras and Nicaragua, as chargé d’affaires, its prime diplomatic consultant
