Up-and-coming Democrat Jack Schlossberg thinks the 2026 midterm elections may be the “last chance to stop” President Donald Trump.

The grandson of late President John F. Kennedy and present congressional candidate laid out the stakes whereas showing on MS NOW’s “Morning Joe” on Tuesday.

Asked why he needed to get into the “ugly business” of politics at such a tumultuous time, Schlossberg advised anchor Willie Geist, “America is turning 250 years old this year and I’m a spiritual person and I think its coming at this moment for a reason. We’re at a crossroads.”

“I ask myself, as I consider where we are today, in light of where we came from, what happened?” he questioned, noting how individuals’s confidence within the authorities is at an all-time low.

“I’m running right now because I still believe in politics,” Schlossberg continued. “I still believe politics is a noble profession and I still believe in a future that looks way better than the present moment we’re living through.”

The 33-year-old political scion additionally mentioned it was time for brand spanking new leaders to tackle Washington D.C.: “People are also sick and tired of being sick and tired of this president and they want to send a new generation to Congress that knows how to fight and also how to win, because we need to deliver.”

“If we don’t win this election and Democrats don’t take back the House, we will not get another chance to stop Trump,” he went on.

“And we don’t know what comes with the other side of that,” Schlossberg continued. “So, a lot of people, in this district, are very concerned about stopping Trump right now,” he mentioned of the New York City district the place he’s searching for Rep. Jerry Nadler’s (D-N.Y.) seat.
