EU summit, from Draghi to Letta: at this time’s programme

Day of discussions in Belgium, within the fort of Alden Biesen, to handle the subject of European competitiveness. The casual summit, wished by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, which is able to begin from the doc on competitiveness, shared by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz through the intergovernmental summit on 23 January at Villa Pamphilj. The conferences will start at 9.30 with a “pre-summit”, a coordination assembly co-chaired by Meloni and Merz. Before the lunch break, there might be conferences with the President of the European Parliament (10.30) and with Mario Draghi (11.00). In the afternoon, we are going to begin with the dialogue with Enrico Letta (3.00 pm) and might be adopted by a piece session and the ultimate press convention at round 6.30 pm.
