Two weeks earlier than the primary spherical of municipal elections, scheduled for March 15, the National Rally (RN) withdrew its nomination from Adrien Nave, head of the listing within the municipal elections in Dunkirk. According to a press launch obtained on Sunday by Agence France-Presse, the far-right occasion explains this withdrawal by the presence on its listing of the spokesperson for the royalist motion Action Française, Antoine La Scola.

The RN denounces a “betrayal”
According to him, the deputy departmental delegate of the RN in Flanders, Maxence Accart, who was initially among the many names offered by Adrien Nave, “was removed from the final list submitted to the Dunkirk sub-prefecture”. “Such betrayal cannot remain without consequences”provides the deputy, saying, along with the withdrawal of the nomination, the summons of the particular person involved “in the conflict committee with a view to exclusion” of the occasion.
Contacted by AFP, Adrien Nave, who sits on the Hauts-de-France regional council, couldn’t instantly be reached. At the start of February, the National Rally withdrew the nomination from its head of listing in Carpentras (Vaucluse), Christian Richaud Simoni, after the revelation, by the newspaper Releaseoutdated racist and sexist tweets.
