U.S. President Donald Trump stated Saturday afternoon that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was lifeless following the joint U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran.
“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Trump stated in an announcement on Truth Social.
Khamenei was “unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems,” Trump wrote, including that there was “not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do.”

Khamenei, 86, had held final management over Iran’s political, army and non secular establishments as Iran’s supreme chief since 1989. He had no identified successor, per the Associated Press, making his dying prone to create an influence vacuum.

Trump had introduced early morning Saturday that the U.S. and Israel had launched a serious assault on Iran. In his announcement, he appeared to push for regime change, urging the Iranian individuals to “seize control” of their “destiny.” He echoed that sentiment in his assertion on Khamenei, calling the scenario “the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country.”
However, Trump stated that “the heavy and pinpoint bombing” of Iran will proceed “uninterrupted throughout the week” or “as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”
Iranian state media stated Saturday night that at the very least 201 individuals have been killed and 700 injured within the strikes, with greater than 50 killed in a strike on a ladies’ faculty.
