A “loud” explosion hit the US embassy in Oslo, Norway, early Sunday native time, in keeping with police.
“A loud bang/explosion was reported at the scene,” Oslo police instructed CBS News in a press release.
The incident reportedly didn’t trigger any deaths and resulted in minor injury on the scene.
“At around 1 a.m. we received several reports of an explosion. We arrived shortly afterward and confirmed that there had been an explosion that hit the US embassy,” police incident commander Michael Delmer reportedly instructed public broadcaster NRK, initially in Norwegian.
He added that there had been minor accidents, and that police had used canines, drones, and helicopters to analyze what occurred.
