A 15-year-old boy has been charged with tried homicide after a teenage lady was stabbed at a secondary faculty close to Norwich.
Police have been known as to Thorpe St Andrew School on Laundry Lane at 10.24am on Wednesday following studies {that a} teenage lady had been stabbed.
Pupils have been put into lockdown of their lecture rooms after the incident.
The 15-year-old boy, who can’t be named for authorized causes, was arrested and brought to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He has since been charged with tried homicide and possession of a knife on a college premises, Norfolk Police stated.
The boy has been remanded into custody and is because of seem at Norwich Youth Court on Friday morning.
Norfolk Police stated officers will proceed to conduct reassurance patrols each on the faculty and within the space over the approaching days.
The teenage lady who was taken to hospital with minor accidents after the assault has since been discharged.
