Crime: Fire in Bitterfeld-Wolfen – suspected tried homicide | EUROtoday

After a hearth in an house constructing in Bitterfeld-Wolfen (Anhalt-Bitterfeld district) the police and public prosecutor are investigating on suspicion of tried homicide. A 33-year-old and two youngsters aged 13 and one have been taken to hospital with suspected smoke poisoning, the police and public prosecutor’s workplace stated.

According to info, the fireplace broke out early Monday morning within the hallway space on the bottom flooring of the home. There have been a complete of 11 residents within the constructing.

The fireplace division extinguished the fireplace. A complete of 44 emergency companies with 9 autos have been deployed. The materials harm is at the moment estimated at round 10,000 euros.

According to present findings, there are indications that the fireplace was deliberately set. The investigation is ongoing. Witnesses are requested to report back to the Bitterfeld-Wolfen district police station.
