White House chief of workers Susie Wiles has been identified with early stage breast most cancers, President Donald Trump introduced on social media on Monday.
In a put up on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated Wiles “has decided to take on this challenge, IMMEDIATELY, as opposed to waiting.”
But Trump clarified that Wiles will proceed working whereas she undergoes remedy.
“She has a fantastic medical team, and her prognosis is excellent! During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!” he added. “Her Strength and her Commitment to continue doing the job she loves, and does so well, while undergoing treatment, tells you everything you need to know about her.”
Wiles confirmed the prognosis in a press release to The New York Times.
“Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis,” Wiles stated. “Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks.”
Wiles advised the Times she was inspired by her “strong prognosis” earlier than thanking Trump for his help.
“I am also deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of President Trump as I undergo treatment and continue serving in my current role,” she added.
Shortly after Trump introduced her prognosis, Wiles, described by the president as one in every of his “closest and most important advisors,” appeared by the president’s aspect as he delivered remarks to the press forward of the Kennedy Center board assembly.
