Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth tore into the media once more at a press convention to replace the nation about President Donald Trump’s Iran War.
Hegseth started Thursday morning by paying tribute to the U.S. service members who’ve been killed within the battle.
“What I heard through tears, through hugs, through strength and through unbreakable resolve was the same from family after family,” Hegseth stated of the fallen troopers’ households. “They said, ‘finish this.’”
The Pentagon chief once more berated the press for “call[ingintoquestioneverystep”ofthewar”whichisnowinitsthirdweekandhassofarkilled13USservicemembersandhasseenoilpricesleap[ingintoquestioneverystep”ofthewar”whichisnowinitsthirdweekandhassofarkilled13USservicemembersandhasseenoilpricesleap
“We’re winning, decisively and on our terms,” he informed the American folks, and stated the press “wants President Trump to fail.”
Hegseth tried to reassure the general public that the U.S. will not be spinning right into a “forever war” with Iran as he described the joint bombing marketing campaign with Israel as “laser-focused and decisive.”
During the briefing, Hegseth stated the U.S. has struck greater than 7,000 targets in Iran, worn out its submarines and has “crippled” the nation’s navy ports.
“We are hunting them down methodically, ruthlessly and overwhelmingly like no other military in the world can do,” Hegseth stated.
“Today will be the largest strike package yet,” he warned.
