President Donald Trump spoke to reporters Friday about Arkansas Gov. and former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) being requested to depart a restaurant — and he couldn’t consider the place it occurred.
“Wow! In Arkansas, that’s very surprising,” he stated, after a reporter advised him the incident befell in Sanders’ house state.
Sanders stated Friday that she and her workforce have been booted from a Little Rock eatery the proprietor stated staff felt “threatened” by her presence. The restaurant, The Croissanterie, disputed that anybody advised Sanders staff felt “threatened,” however did say staff and clients raised questions on her being there.
“Ultimately, we made the decision to support our employees and guests who expressed they were uncomfortable,” the restaurant stated in an announcement.
