It’s been 5 years since Daniel Craig exploded himself out of the James Bond movie franchise in No Time To Die.
Now Amazon MGM Studios is about to reboot 007 fully with Dune trilogy’s Denis Villeneuve directing and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight as screenwriter.
The latter was lately giving interviews for the brand new Peaky Blinders movie when he was requested in regards to the subsequent Bond movie.
Speaking with Variety, Knight teased: “I mean, I can’t give any details, obviously. But I’m loving it. It’s so much fun.” Asked if any 007 bulletins can be coming quickly, he stated: “Yes… depends on what you mean by ‘soon,’ but yeah. I mean, things are moving along quite nicely.” Amazon MGM Studios are giving an exclusive presentation on their upcoming slate at CinemaCon, Las Vegas on April 15, so that would be an obvious spot for a next Bond announcement. Daily Express will be in attendance, so watch out for any breaking news here in the Film section.
Knight also teased to BBC Radio 4: “The books are so good. So underrated as literature. There’s something about the world that he created that is tangibly real, and yet it’s not real. It’s almost dreamlike somehow. And I just love the way, the style of how he writes, and the dialogue is so good. Which is what I’m always looking out for. I’ve got a very particular way I want, you know, I want this to go. I’m working with fantastic people, the best people, and people will have to wait and see.”
