The Paris Court of Appeal sentenced filmmaker Christophe Ruggia to 5 years in jail on Friday April 17, together with two years below an digital bracelet, for sexual assault on actress Adèle Haenel when she was aged 12 to 14.

Christophe Ruggia, 61, was discovered responsible of sexual assault from 2001 to 2004 on Adèle Haenel throughout weekly conferences at her residence, within the wake of the grueling filming of the movie “The Devils” the place the director, 24 years her senior, had provided the younger teenager her first position within the cinema.
