King Charles III has praised the “American leadership”, talking after president Donald Trump on the state dinner hosted on the White House in Washington D.C., on Tuesday (28 April).
He hailed the US-UK alliance to fight international challenges over time.
“American leadership helped rebuild a shattered continent playing a decisive role as a defender of freedom.”
King Charles then went on to understand America’s contribution in the direction of Ukraine within the Russia conflict as “freedom is again under attack.”
“Today, our partnerships in Nato and AUKUS deepen our technological and military cooperation and ensure that together we can meet the challenges of an increasingly complex and contested world”, he added.
This comes after Trump’s fixed threats to depart Nato, calling it “paper tiger” primarily as a result of he claims allies have did not assist America within the Iran conflict.
